AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE RO.iiDVlAY OF MT. VERNON
AVENUE FROM THE SOUTH LINE OF RIRTO cAVElroE TO THE SOUTH
LINE OF THIRD STREET: THIRD STREI~T FROM THE WEST LINE OF G
STREET TO THE ~~ST LINE OF I STREET: E STREET FROM THE SOUTH
LINE OF FOURTH STREET TO THE SOUTH LIBB OF NINTH STREET:
FOURTH STREET FROM THE WEST LINE OF D STREET TO THE EAST
LINE OF I STREET: FIFTH STREET FROM THE WEST LINE OF C
STREET TO THE WEST LINE OF MT. VERNON AVENUE: G STREET
FROM THE NORTH LINE OF SECOND STREET TO THE SOUTH LINE
OF NINTH STREET: H STREET FROM THE NORTH LINE OF RIALTO
AVENUE TO THE SOUTH LINE OF SEC01ID STREET: AND D STREET
FRPM THE SOUTH LINE OF FIFTH STREET TO THE SOUTH LINE OF
BASE LINE.
WHEREAS, the roadways of those certain streets, in
the city of San Bernardino. hereinafter referred to have
been fully constructed to the satisfaction of the Supe~-
intendent of Streetsn of the city of San Bernardino.-and
of the Mayor and Cormnon Council of said City, and are in
good conditipn throughout and sewers, gas pipes and

water pipes laid therein;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Mayor and Common Council of
the city of San Bernardino do ordain as follows:
Section 1. That the entire roadways of Mt. Vernon
Avenue from the south line ofRlalto Avenue to the South
line of Third street; Third Street from the West line of
G street to the West line of I Street; E Street from the
South line of Fourth street to the south line of Ninth
Street; Fourth Street from the West line of D Street to
the East line of I Street; Fifth Street from the west
line of 'c Street to the West line of Mt. Vernon Avenue;
G Street from the North line of Second Street to the South

Ria1to Avenue to the so~th line of Second Street; and
D street from the south line of Fifth St~eet to the south
line of Ba~Line, be and the same are hereby accepted in
accordance with Section XX of the Act entitled" An Act
to provide for work upon streets, lanes, alleys, Courts,
places and sidewalks, and for the construction of sewers
within municipalities", approved M~rch 18, 1885.
Section 11. This ordinance shall take effect and be
in force from and after thirty (30) days after its adoption
and approval.
Section 111. The City Clerk shall certify to the
passage of the foregoing ordinance and cause the same to be
published for three consecutive days in The Evening Index.

I hereby certify that the foregoing ordiaance was
adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the city of
San Bernardino, at its meeting held on the 24th day of
April, 1911, by the fOllowing vote, to-wit:
