AN ORDINANCE .AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 347, OF TEE CITY OF SAN
BERNARDINO, ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHIllG A FIRE DEPART-
MENT WITHIN THE CITY OF SAN BER}TARDINO, PRESCRIBING THE DUTIES
OF THE OFFICERS THEREOF". ADOPTED AND APPROVED ON THE 15th
DAY OF JANUARY, 1907.
The Kay~r and Common Council of the City of San
Bernardino do ordain as follows:
Section I. Section 28 of Ordinance No. 347 of the City of
San Bernardino, entitled "An ordinance establishing a Fire
Department within the City of San Bernardino,prescribing the
duties of the officers thereof", adopted and approved on the
15th day of January, 1907,- is hereby amended *0 as to read as
follows:
Section 28. The salaries of the officers and members of the
Fire Department, shall be as follows:"' The Chief, One Hundred
Dollars <$100.00) per month; the chauffeur of auto f'i re truck,
One Hundred Dollars <1100.00) per month; driver of hose wagon,
Seventy-Five Dollars <$75.00) per month; driver of hook and
ladder wagon, Seventy Dollars <170.00) per month; electrician,
One Hundred Dollars <$100.00) per month.
Sectlon II. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conf.1i ct herewith are hereby repealed.
Section III. This ordinance shall take effect and ~e in force'
from and after its adoption, approval and publication as required
by law.
Section IV. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this ordinance and cause the same to be published for three conse-
cutive days in the Evening Index.
