The ,Board of Tr1.i.stees of the City of San Bernardino do ordain as
follows:
Section 1. That a franchisl::! be Hnd the same is hereby granted to
John L. Campbell and his assigns, to use for the term of 49 yeara the
public etreetsp tholloughfaree and alleys of the Cl ty of Sa.n Bernardino
for the :purpose of erecting and maintaining poles and all necessary
equipmente upon which to string wires to be used for introduring into
and supplying the City ef San Bernardino and ita inhabitants with electric
lighting and p.lectric current to be used for power ~urpo8ea.
