The Mayor and Comrnon Council of the Ci ty of San Bernardino
do ordain as fol101,':8 :
Section I: - Ordi nance No. 322 of the Oi ty of Sa.n Bernar-
dino , entitled, .. An ordinance providing for the licensing
ot business , shows , exhibitions a.nd games conducted or
carried on in the 01 ty of San Bernardino. and r'ixing the
rate of lioene Ell therefor and providing for the collection
thereof ", approved on the 15th. day of February, 1906 ,
is hereby amended by adding a new :3ection the~'eto said
Seotion to be knO'Nn as Section 72 1/2 and;~hich Jaid
Section shall be as tollows
Section 72 1/2: - For every person, finn or corporation
engaging in, conducting or car,eying on the business
of selling any fruits or vegetables . at wholesale, fran
w~ons upon the public streets of said City, or without
having a fixed plaoe of business in said City, shall pay
a monthly license of ~no.oo ; provided, however, tha.t this
Seotion shall not apply to persona ael1i~~ to retail
merohants having a fixed place of business in the City of
San Bernardino ,nor to pe'sons selling the produce of
of their o~~ raising .
Section 11:-
The words · at wholesale. as used in
tbe for~oing Seotion shall be construed to mean , saleo

Seotion III:" Seotion II of said Ordnanoe No. 322
is hereby ~ended to read as follows:
For every person firm or corporation oarrying
on the business of advertising I by postimg . sticking I
taoking, affixing or painting bills or signs to or upon
posts I fences , billboards ~ advertising signboards,
buildingi') or other structures , per ar~um $loo.oo.
For every person, finn or corporation oarrying on
the business ~f advertising by distributing posters ,
dodgers , or printed advertisements of any kind , ~15.00 per

For every pEr son ,frilrm or corporation carrying on
the business of advertising by means of stereopticon,
biograph, moving pictures or any similar device I $5.00 per
month.
Section IV. Any person, firm Or corporation violat-
in! any of the provisions of this Ordnance shall be deemed
guilty of a ~sdeneanor and upon conviction thereof
shall be punished by a fine not exceeding $200.00 or by
imprisonment in the City jail for a period uf not exoeed-
int; ninety days I or by both such fine and imprisonment.
Seotion'\!; :.. This Ordinance shall take effect
a.nd be in force from and after b thirty days after its
paa8~e and approval .
