STAFF REPORT
On September 13, 1988, Mayor Wilcox appointed nine community
members to her 21st Century Charter Review Committee with the
prime directive for the Committee to update the Charter to
conform with current State law and provide for the best and
most efficient government possible for the City of San
Bernardino. Advisors to the Committee are City Clerk Shauna
Clark and City Attorney James F. Penman.
Realizing that the current City Council must have a voice in
this process, Mayor Wilcox seeks to have nominated from among
the Council a person she can appoint to this Committee.
