STAFF REPORT
The City of San Bernardino has been allocated $245.651 of Article 8 funds
for the 1988-89 fiscal year for the use by the City of San Bernardino for.
Street Cc:mstruction Fund purposes. The Southern California Association of
Governments (SCAG) requires a resolution or minute order to request such
funds. In prior years approval was also needed by SCAG to release Omni-
tran's share of Article 8 funds. This requirement is no longer the
case. Omnitrans now receives their share directly from SCAG. Therefore,
we are requesting approval from the Mayor and Common Council authorizing
SCAG to release the City's share of 1988/89 Article 8 funds.

RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AUTHORIZING THE
3 DIRECTOR OF FINANCE TO SUBMIT A CLAIM OF $245,651 FOR SB-325
FUNDS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF LOCAL STREETS AND ROADS FOR THE 1988-89
4 FISCAL YEAR.
5 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1.
The Director of Finance is hereby authorized

and directed to submit a claim of $245,651.00 to Southern
California Association of Governments (S.C.A.G.) for construction
of local streets and roads pursuant to Article 8 of SB-325 of
1972, also known as the Transportation Development Act, and, in
particular, under Public Utilities Code Section 99400(a).
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution wa~ duly
adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San
Bernardino at a
