CIVIL SERVICE BOARD POLICY STATEMENT
To direct the Chief Examiner and Secretary to provide
in writing to the Mayor and Common Council, the city Clerk,
and the Director of Personnel, prior to each Council
meeting, a list of the Personnel Action Forms approved by the
Chief Examiner, and that any other Personnel Action Forms for
classified positions not so approved in writing by the Chief
Examiner prior to the Council meeting should not be approved
by the Mayor and Common Council.

to the approving of Amendments to civil service Rule 501, 502 and 502.1
concerning categories of Career and Non-Career Appointment. Where you
read "Appointment - Limited Term Non-Career", such an appointment will
be for no more than 6 months.
FORM MOTION: That the Personnel Actions submitted by the Director of
Personnel in accordance with all administrative regulations of the City
of San Bernardino be approved and ratified.
