STAFF REPORT
The Engineering Division was requested by the Foothill
Villa Apartments, through Councilman Jess Flores to restrict
parking along the perimeter of their property, as an alternative
to a controlled access on Second Street, east of Meridian
Avenue. A map showing the proposed parking restrictions is
attached for reference.

Committee concurred with the request to prohibit parking on the
east side of Meridian Avenue, and both sides of Second Street
and Dallas Street, adjacent to the Foothill Villas Apartment
Complex. The north and east sides of Second Street and Dallas
Street are non-access, and prohibiting parking will have no
impact upon the adjoining development.
