Projects listed under the first fiscal year (1988/89) are those actually budgeted, while the subsequent four years are projections based upon a reasonable expectation of receiving funding. A listing of all proposed projects, for which there is not a reasonable expectation of receiving funds within the next 5 years, is included at the end of each category of projects for information purposes. Projects are grouped in the following 7 categories: 1. General Buildings 2. Streets and Street Lighting 3. Traffic Controls 4. Storm Drains 5. Sewers 6. Recreational Field Lighting 7. Parks and Recreation The projects under the last 4 years of the Capital Improvement Program are reviewed during annual budget hearings and revisions can be made as deemed appropriate. Adoption of A.B. 1600 has interjected a sense of urgency in adopting the Capital Improvement Program. This situation is due to the fact that our development fees may be rendered invalid if the Capital Improvement Program is not officially adopted prior to 1-1- 89. We recommend that a work shop session be set for 9: 00 - 12:00 on Tuesday, 11-15-88, in order to afford the Mayor and Common Council an opportuni ty to review the draft Capital Improvement Program and make any necessary revisions. -.' .::-- 10-31-88 75-0264
