HomeMy WebLinkAbout52-Fire Department 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 1 ORDINANCE NO. 2 ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AMENDING SECTION 2.201(a) OF THE UNIFORM FIRE CODE 1985 EDITION TO AUTHORIZE THE 3 COLLECTION OF FEES FOR CERTAIN INSPECTIONS CONDUCTED THEREUNDER AND SETTING THE AMOUNTS OF SUCH FEES. 4 THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO 5 DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: 6 SECTION 1: 7 Section 15.16.075 is added to the San Bernardino Municipal 8 9 Code to read as follows: "15.16.075 Inspection Fees Section 2.201(a) of the Uniform Fire Code is amended to read as follows: (a) The fire prevention bureau shall inspect, as often as may be necessary, all buildings and premises, including such other hazards or appliances as the chief may designate for the purpose of ascertaining and causing to be corrected any conditions which would reasonably tend to cause fire or 17 contribute to its spread, or any violations of the purpose or 18 19 20 provisions of the code and any other law or standard affecting fire safety.
