DescriPtion) Fire Sprinklers - City Hall Finance: (1'vL .~'J f'j-.------ Council Notes: 75-0262 Agenda I tem No. ~/ CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO - REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION STAFF REPORT Plans and Specifications for the installation of an automatic sprinkler system in City Hall have been prepared by the Engineering Division, and the project is ready to be advertised for bids. The project consists, in general, of installing an automatic fire sprinkler system on the ground, Council Offices, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth and mechanical penthouse floors. Listed below is an estimate of the total proposed cost. TOTAL ESTIMATED PROJECT COST $ 223,000 $ 10,000 $ 233,000 $ 12,000 $ 245,000 Construction Contract Engineering & Inspection (W.O. #1307) Sub-Total Contingencies (5% +/-) An amount of $245,000.00 has been allocated, under Account No. 048-025-56002, to finance the costs incurred for this project. We recommend that the Plans be approved and authorization granted to advertise for bids. This project is exempt from environmental review as provided in Section 15301 of Article 19, Categorical Exemptions, of the Guideline for Implementation of the California Environmental Quality Act. 11/1/88 75-0264
