STAFF REPORT
A request was received by the City from the owner of an approximately 10 acre parcel,
located South of Rialto Avenue, West of Tippecanop. Avenue. This parcel is bounded on
the East, West and South by the City boundari.es. There are seven parcels located just
north of the petitioner's parcel that abut Rialto Avenue on the South. This office
sent correspondence to the registered voters living within these seven parcels, for
their response to the possibility of being included in this annexation. Three
responses were received--- one opposing and two in favor. It is felt that the lack of
response from the remainder indicates that no strong opposition to the annexation
exists.
It is recommended that the Director of Public Works/City Engineer and the City Clerk
be authorized to proceed with the annexation.
