1. UNDERGROUNDING OF UTILITIES - 1525 NORTH "D" STREET
- DISCUSSION - The Committee recommended that the under-
grounding of utilities resolution be amended to include all
projects from January 1, 1988. Information received from
Public Works/Engineering Director indicated, as far as he can
determine, only one project would be affected. This would
provide the exemption to Mr. Jacober as provided under the
present code. This item will be on the December 5 Agenda.

At the Legislative Review Committee meeting of 11-10-88, the
request from Rene J. Jacober, for a waiver of the requirement to
underground utilities at 1525 North "D" Street, was considered.
In order to assist the Committee in their review, it was requested
that we provide a tabulation of projects that would be affected by
enactment of a retroactive provision. We have done a quick search
of our project development files to determine what projects could
be relieved of this requirement by such a provision.
