It is recommended that an administrative fee of $100 be charged for each
vehicle that is abated by the City. Current charge is $25.00.
The public hearing must be held in accordance with Government Code 54992
and 54994.1.

1 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO ESTABLISHING FEES FOR
THE ABATEMENT OF ABANDONED VEHICLES

3 WHEREAS, Section 8.36.070 of San Bernardino Municipal Code
4 authorizes the Mayor and Common Council to fix an amount to be
5 assessed as administrative cost for the abatement of abandoned
6 vehicles, and;
7 WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held pursuant to Govern-
8 ment Code Section 54992 and 54994.1, and;
9 The Mayor and Common Council find that the fee established
10 does not exceed the actual cost to the City for the abatement of
11 abandoned vehicles;
12 THEREFORE, the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San
13 Bernardino do resolve as follows:

SECTION 1: An administrative charge of $100.00 is hereby
15 established for the abatement of each vehicle abated by the City.
16 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly
17 adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San
18 Bernardino at a
