It protects the interests of both the City and the renter at no expense to the City and offers great convenience and savings to the renter. A stand-alone policy is issued insured and the renter is endorsed for the special event and provide occurrence for each event. to the City as the named as the additional insured limits of $1 million per The coverage is as follows: Comprehensive General Liability Limit of Liability $1,000,000 Bodily Injury & Property damage Premises & Operations Concession Products Personal Injury Advertising Injury Host Liquor Liability Fire Legal Liability Incidental Medical Malpractice Non-Owned Watercraft Limited Worldwide Liability The deposit premium for this package is $3,652, of which $2,500 is refundable (whenever policy is terminated). Each renter or user will pay a premium for their insurance according to the size of the group, the type of event, the length or number of times event occurs. The City will not be charged for the coverage unless the City chooses to provide insurance for itself or others. From time to time the City sponsors special events with other entities and from time to time we co-sponsor events through organizations or foundations like M.A.C. and Main Street. With special events insurance coverage in place, we would have the option of coverage for said event or events without jeopard~zing the on going liability program. Therefore, we recommend the adoption of this program. 75-0264
