Background: The Mayor and Common Council approved salaries for Police Safety on September 21,2009, and Police Management,Fire Safety and Fire Management on October 5, 2009, as a result of the salary surveys and computations required under Charter Section 186. As in previous years, Section Three of Resolution No. 6429 needs to be amended to reflect the Mayor and Common Council actions. The proposed resolution will amend Resolution No. 6429 to incorporate the current salaries.
