study, estimated at $5,000.

STAFF REPORT
Staff has been considering the impact of current and new development along the
southern portion of "E" Street within the Southeast Industrial Park Project Area.
The City has been considering widening the bridge on South "E" Street for some
time.
Pursuant to our request, the traffic engineer has provided a scope of work and
estimated cost for a traffic study to provide us with the information needed to
determine the current needs to widen the "E" Street bridge and to provide adequate
signalization to service this growing area.
Staff and Redevelopment Committee recommend that the Director of Public Works be
authorized to solicit proposals for the traffic study and that the Agency incur
the cost estimated at $5,000.

for the subject project. My comments are:
SCOPE !E ~
The study should address the following potential impact
a re as:
a. the completion of the second half of "E" Street Bridge,
b. signalization needs at Orange Show Road/I-215, Hunts
Lanel"E" Street, Hunts Lane/Hospitality Lane, project
access/HE" Street, and
c. signal improvements at Orange Show Road/"E" Street.
