STAFF REPORT
The rescinding tract is northwesterly of Shandin Hills Golf
Course, and is 30.5 acres. A rescinding tract map has never
been recorded by the County Recorder.
A rescinding tract will not impact public interest because the
tract is located north of Shandin Hills Golf Course. An
easement wil be needed from the Redevelopment Agency for
drainage, slopes and emergency access over portions of the golf
course.
Over-all grading and off-site improvement plans have been
approved by the City, but permits have not been issued to
developer.
At the Council Meeting of July 7,1982, Resolution No. 82-284
was approved. This resolution approved the Final Map for Tract
No. 11145, accepted as pUblic dedication as set forth on the
map and authorized the execution of agreement for the improve-
ment of thi s tract.
The developer, Block Brothers (U.S.A.) Inc. has requested by
letter dated October 24, 1986, that Counc1l rescind approval of
this Final Map because of difficulties obtaining an easement.
Due to the fact that the Fi nal Map for the resci ndi ng tract has
not been, or will not be recorded, Block Brothers (U.S.A.)
Inc.'s request would appear to be in order, therefore, we
recommend that the request be approved.

1 RESOLUTION NO.
2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO RESCINDING
APPROVAL OF THE FINAL MAP FOR SUBDIVISION TRACT NO. 11145, LOCATED
3 APPROXIMATELY 350 FEET WEST OF LITTLE MOUNTAIN DRIVE, NORTH OF THE
CUL-DE-SAC TERMINUS OF BOND STREET, RESCINDING APPROVAL DF THE
4 AGREEMENT FDR THE IMPROVEMENT IN SAID SUBDIVISION: AND REPEALING
RESOLUTION NO. 82-284.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
6 CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. The Mayor and Common Council hereby rescind
8 a~proval of the final map for Subdivision Tract No. 11145 hereto-
9 fore approved July 7, 1982. The dedications to the public con-
10 tained therein are also rescinded.

SECTION 2. The Mayor and Common Council hereby rescind
12 approval of the agreements with Block Bros. (U.S.A.), Inc., for
13 the improvements in said subdivision tract as requested by Block
14 Bros. (U.S.A.), Inc., and said agreements are hereby released
15 and cancelled.

SECTION 3. Resolution No. 82-284 is hereby repealed.

18 adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San
19 Bernardino at a
