Ward: 5___ FUNDING REQUIREMENTS: Amount: Nnnp Sou rce: Finance: Council Notes: 1 75-0<'62 AQenda Item No. /3 CITl OF SAN BERNARDlt'''' - REQUE--T FOR COUNCIL AC'r~N STAFF REPORT A petition has been received by this office requesting the formation of an assessment district for the the undergrounding of overhead utilities in portions of Kendall Drive, Northwest- erly of University Parkway. The signatures affixed to the referenced petition have been checked and found to represent the owners of 100 percent of the area of the property lying within the proposed boundaries of the district to be assessed for the proposed undergrounding. The developers will be required to up-front their proportional share of the cost of proceedings to establish the district. The actual undergrounding will be held in abeyance as the area is in general improvement transition. As the area develops and undergrounding is required, we will expand the boundaries of this district until a viable project is obtained, and at that point we will proceed with the actual construction and assessment. Financing will probably be accomplished through the sale of 1911 Act Bonds. . 2 75-0264 1<' " . , " .. -~ 7' ~ ~ ... " .. . '^ '! ~ ~ \\ \ 1: . v......,- ~ ~ ~ ... ! ~ 'I ~ '~'''..' ~..
