That the Department of Public Services be authorized to use City forces for the
construction of sidewalk on the west side of Grape between Mill Street and
Chestnut at a cost not to exceed $2,000.

STAFF REPORT
Pedestrian traffic travelling to and from Valley College and commercial establish-
ments (particulary Fedco) on Grape between Mill Street and Chestnut have to walk
in the street during rainy weather because of mud.
An increase in vehicular traffic is causing a potential safety hazard. Prior to
the start of the rainy season the Department of Public Services is recommending
the construction of sidewalk on the west side of Grape between Mill Street and
Chestnut.
