Synopsis of Previous Council action:
1-21-86 -- Transfer of $91,300 for installation of street improvements on
Del Rosa Avenue, (west side), from Eureka Street to 39th Street,
approved.
Recommended motion:
That the plans for installation of street improvements on Del Rosa
Avenue (west side), from Eureka Street to 39th Street, in accordance
with Plan No. 6948, be approved; and the Director of Public Works/
City Engineer authorized to advertise for bids.

STAFF REPORT
The plans, specifications and estimate for these improvements have
been prepared by the Engineering Division, and the project is ready to be
advertised for bids. The project consists of installing curb and gutter,
sidewalk, driveway approaches, street lights and fill-in street paving.
Curb and gutter will be installed at 20' from the centerline, in order to
avoid removing the trees.
Listed below is an estimate of the total project cost:

An amount of $91,300 has been allocated, under Account No.
242-362-57369, to finance the costs incurred for these improvements.
We recommend that the plans be approved and authorization granted
to advertise for bids.
URGENCY CLAUSE
Funds have been allowed for the rehabilitation and channelization of this
section of Del Rosa Avenue. These projects are being deferred until the
street improvements are installed.
