The proposed purchase is for one 4MB, 64K Memory Add-On Array, and one 456 MB, RA81-AA/A6
~Iillchester Disk Drive. At the request of the Police Department, specifications as prepared
by Lt. Dan Robbins, Supervisor of Records Management Computer System were published and
furnihsed to appropriate vendors. I' .
Bids were publicly opened and declared on January 29, 1986. The following is a summary

Specifications as bid have been reviewed with Lt. Dan Robbins who concurs that the bid
of Command Data Systems meets specifications and requirements. The equipment offered
is by the same manufacturer as that now being utilized by the department, it is there-
fore recommended that the bid of Command Data Systems be accepted for contract.
Many of the vendors did not submit a bid because they do not handle the
specified computer equipment.

RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AWARDING A BID TO COMMAND
DATA SYSTEMS FOR THE FURNISHING AND DELIVERY OF ONE 4MB, 64K MEMORY ADD-ON
ARRAY, AND ONE 456 MB, RA81-AA/A6 WINCHESTER DISK DRIVE IN ACCORDANCE WITH
BID SPECIFICATION F-86-3.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BER-
NARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Command Data Systems is the lowest responsible bidder for
the furnishing and delivery of one 4MB, 64K Memory Add-On Array, and one
456 MB, RA81-AA/A6 Winchester Disk Drive in accordance with Bid Specification
F-86-3 for the total amount of $30,478.00; pursuant. to this determination,
the Purchasing Agent is hereby authorized and directed to issue a purchase
order for said computer equipment to said lowest responsible bidder; such
award shall only be effective upon the issuance of a purchase order by the
Purchasing Agent; and all other bids therefor are hereby rejected.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted by
the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino at a
meeting thereof, held on the
