Synopsis of Previous Council action:
01-21-85 Authorization granted to proceed with the establishment of an
assessment district for the improvement of Lassen Street,
03-07-85 Resolution No, 85-98 adopted declaring the City's intention to
order the work,

Resolution No, 85-167 adopted ordering the work,
Change Order No, One, to be approved, to authorize the Contractor
to change the type of water pipe from ABS to steel, place 390,21
tons of aggregate base, and furnish and place a stop sign and
street name sign, at a net increase in contract price of $5,640.17,
from $72,354,65 to $77,994,82,
Recommended motion:
That the work performed by the Contractor, in accordance with
Specification No, 5888, be approved and accepted; and that
final payment be authorized at the expiration of the lien
period,
