STAFF REPORT
At the Legislative Review Committee meeting of January 9,
1986, the City Attorney was instructed to change the title of
Chief Engineer to Fire Chief wherever it may appear in any
resolution of the City of San Bernardino. The attached
document accomplishes this change.

RESOLUTION NO.
2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO PROVIDING THAT
WHEREVER THE WORDS "CHIEF ENGINEER" APPEAR IN ANY RESOLUTION IT
3 SHALL BE DEEMED TO BE "FIRE CHIEF".
4 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:

6 SECTION 1. It is the intention of the Mayor and Common
7 council of the City of San Bernardino that wherever the words
8 "Chief Engineer" appear in any resolution that it shall be deemed
9 to mean "r'ire Chief".
10 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly
