BID SPEC: F-85-45
The proposed purchase is for one tow behind turf rake, to be utilized in daily operations
by the Park, Recreation and Community Services Department. At the request of the depart-
ment and in co-ordination with the Equipment Superintendent, appropriate specifications
were prepared, published and furnished to area equipment suppliers. The following is a
summary of bids received. The budgeted amount was for $22,260.00.

Specifications as bid have been reviewed with Equipment Superintendent and Director of
Parks, Recreation and Community Services who concur, that the bid of Pacific Equipment
and Irrigation meets specifications and requirements. It is therefore recommended that
the bid be accepted for contract. The amount of $22,260.00 was included in the 1985/86
budget for this equipment.

2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AWARDING A BID TO PACIFIC
EQUIPMENT AND IRRIGATION FOR THE FURNISHING AND DELIVERY OF ONE TOW BEHIND
3 TURF RAKE TO BE UTILIZED BY THE PARKS, RECREATION & COMMUNITY SERVICES DEPART-
MENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH SPECIFICATION NO. F-85-45.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ~~YOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
5 BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. Pacific Equipment And Irrigation is the lowest responsible
7 bidder for the furnishing and delivery of One Tow Behind Turf Rake Toro
8 Model Rako-O-Vac #07073 in accordance with Specification No. F-85-45 for the
9 total amount of $17,172.00; pursuant to this determination, the Purchasing
10 Agent is hereby authorized and directed to issue a purchase order for said
II Tow Behind Turf Rake to said lowest responsible bidder; such award shall only
12 be effective upon the issuance of a purchase order by the Purchasing Agent;
13 and all other bids therefor are hereby rejected.
14 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted by the
15 Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino at a
