CI-. , OF SAN BERNARDI.. 40 - REQUI..J T FOR COUNCIL AC'. ~ON STAFF REPORT The Mayor and Common Council approved the following major arteries for recon- struction from funds previously allocated: "E" Street, from Mill to Second Street Seirra Way, from Third Street to Sixth Street Fifth Street, from Sierra Way to Arrowhead Avenue Waterman Avenue, from Highland Avenue to 29th Street Highland Avenue, from Harrison to Del Rosa Avenue Arrowhead Avenue, from Third Street to Sixth Street Bunkerhill, from Mill Street to Hillcrest Giovanola, from Rialto Avenue to Belleview Cluster, from Sierra Way to Arrowhead Avenue Before these streets can be resurfaced, the City must contract for scarifying, planing, area removal and placement of rejuvenating oil. The estimated square yardage to be completed is 120,000 for a total cost of $219,450. To prevent delays in completing the work, we are requesting that the Purchas- ing Agent be authorized to advertise for bids at the earliest possible time. Source of funding will be from the balance of the $295,000 General Funds mon- ies allocated for this type of work with the remainder to be taken from the first $460,000 SB300 Funds already received by the City. 75.0264
