Synopsis of Previous Commission/Council action:
-On November 18, 1985. the Mayor and Common Council considered this item and
referred it to the Council's Ways and Means Committee for review.
-On December 2, 1985, the Mayor and Common Council approved resolution #85-503
authorizing the execution of a grant deed conveyance and setting a joint
Public Hearing for January 6, 1986.

STAFF REPORT
Section 33343 of the California Health and Safety Code requires a public
hearing when Agency property is sold. The notice for the publiC hearing must
be published at least fourteen (14) days prior to the holding of said hearing.
Due to the Christmas/New Year holidays, the notice could not be published
early enough to meet the fourteen (14) day notice requirement. Staff
recommends that the joint public hearing be continued to January 20, 1986.
