CI~ OF SAN BERNARDI~O - REQU.9r FOR COUNCIL ACWON STAFF REPORT At the 12-05-85 meeting of the Central City Parking Place Commission, at the request of Loren Walters of Stockwell & Binney, the problem of lack of customer parking in the District Lot #3 (behind Stockwell & Binney, be- tween 4th and 5th Street, east of "0" Street) was discussed. The lack of customer parking is a direct result of downtown employees monopolizing and abusing the 2-hour time limit parking spaces by moving their cars every 2 hours. At present, Lot #3 accommodates fifty-seven (57) 2-hour parking spaces and 121 all-day parking spaces. Mr. Walters requested that 14 spaces out of the existing fifty-seven (57) 2-hour parking spaces be converted to I-hr. parking time limitation. This conversion will not result in any significant adverse impact to the existing use. The Parking Place Commission, therefore, recommends that fourteen (14) 2-hour parking spaces be redesignated to I-hour limited time parking. 75-0264 - - c o o :> 1 RESOLUTION NO. 2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 8234 ENTITLED IN PART "A RESOLUTION . . .
