STAFF REPORT
When the Tri-City Airport (Park Centre) was annexed, one of the
condi tions that L.A.F.C. suggested was that the Ci ty of San
Bernardino try to annex the area to the North with a separate
annexation proceeding.
This proposed annexation was never really carried forth by the
City. and we believe that to close the island would be good for
the City and would continue our good relationship with L.A.F.C.
as to our intention to fulfill a condition made on a past
annexation.
We recommend that the motion and resolution be approved.

. RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO MAK ING APPLI-
CATION TO THE LOCAL AGENCY FOR~IATION Cc~r'ISSION OF THE COUllTY
OF SAN BERNARDINO FOR THE ANNEXATION OF INHABITED TERRITORY
LOCATED EAST OF WATERMAN AVENUE, NORTH OF PARK CENTRE.
WHEREAS, the f1ayor and Common Council as the governi ng
bOdy of the City of San Bernardino are initating proceedings
for a change of organization (annexation) pursuant to
Government Code, Part 2 of Division 2 of Title 4, Section
35000, et seq.,
NOW, THEREFORE, the Mayor and Common Counci 1 do hereby
resolve, determine and order as follows:
SECTION I. Application and a proposal is hereby made
to the Local Agency Formation Commission of the County of San
Bernardino for the annexation of inhabited territory located
East of Waterman Avenue, North of Park Centre, and as outl ined
in the justification form marked Exhibit "A", and the plan and
narrative marke.d Exhibit "B", which are attached hereto and
incorporated by reference as fully as though set forth at
length herein.
SECTION 2.
The City of San Bernardino will accept
the present County zoning on an interim basis. After the area
has been annexed, we will review the zoning for compliance with
the goals and Objectives of the City's general plan.
SECTION 3. The Clerk of the governing bOdy is hereby
authorized and directed to file a certified copy of this
resolution with the Executive Officer of the Local Agency
Formation Commission of the County of San Bernardino.
