Synopsis of Previous Council action:
06-15-87
Resolution No. 86-360 adopted authorizing execution of a
lease with RDA for space in City Hall.
Resolution No. 86-383 adopted authorizing ex~cution of a
first amendment to Lease Agreement with the Water Dept. for
lease of space in City Hall.
Authorization for expenditure of funds for maintenance and
renovation of various public buildings confirmed.
Resolution No. 87-59 adopted authorizing execution of an
Agreement with Interdesign for professional services.
Plans approved and authorization granted to advertise for

Recommended motion:
That the work performed by the Contractor for the
removal and fill-in of a stairway in City Hall, in
accordance with Plan No. 7266, be approved and
accepted; and that final payment be authorized at
the expiration of the lien period.

STAFF REPORT
All work under this contract was satisfactorily completed
as of 11-12-87. The contract was awarded for the low bid price of
$33,089.86. The final contract price is $34,589.86 due to an in-
crease of $1,500 in the contract price for applying two-hour fire
protection, as authorized by Change Order No. One.
We recommend that the work be approved and accepted and
that final payment be authorized at the expiration of the lien
period.

the low bidder for a price of $33,089.86.
