REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION
STAFF REPORT
Plans for installation of handicapped ramps, at various
locations, have been prepared by the Engineering Division and the
project is ready to be advertised for bids. The job consists of
installing handicapped ramps at 25 locations, located generally
in the Valley College Area.
Listed below is an estimate of the total project cost:
Construction Contract $ 37,270
Engr. & Inspection (W.O. #1790 ) 5,556
Sub-Total $ 42,826
Contingencies (15%)1: 6,424
TOTAL ESTIMATED PROJECT COST $ 49,250
An amount of $50,000 has been allocated, under Account
No. 121-544-57597, to finance the costs that will be incurred
for this project.
We recommend that the plans be approved and authorization
granted to advertise for bids.
