(1367 W. lOth Street, 730 North G Street, 2576 Kendall Drive, 4 1002 S. Washington Avenue) 5 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CO!1MON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS: 6 7 SECTION 1. The City of San Bernardino, pursuant to its 8 authority under San Bernardino Municipal Code Chapter 15.28, and 9 other laws, did lawfully cause public nuisance abatements on the 10 real property described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and in- 11 c0rporated herein by reference as though fully set forth. The 12 last known owners of record as to each such parcel are also 13 specified in Exhibit "A". 14 Due notice was given to the person or persons having an 15 interest in said property and a hearing was held by the Board of 16 Building Commissioners to hear protests and to assess the costs 17 of said abatements on.said property. The Board of Building Coro- 18 missioners has entered its order determining the costs to be 19 reasonable and proper and imposing a lien upon the land involved. 20 Notice of the right to appeal to the Mayor and Common Council has 21 been issued to all affected property holders. The Board of Build 22 ing commissioners now request that the Mayor and Common Council 23 confirm the imposition of the lien. 24 SECTION 2. The matter having now come before the Mayor and 25 Common Council for confirmation of the imposition of the liens imposed, the following costs are found to have been duly incurred 26 27 by the City pursuant to proceedings under said provisions of the 28 San Bernardino Municipal Code and the final statements of costs , ' " . If said sum is not fully paid to the City Clerk, 9 City Hall, San Bernardino, within five (5) days after mailing a Ie notice to the person or persons having an interest in said prop- 11 erty informing said person or persons of the adoption of this 12 resolution as to any such individual parcel, then said sum shall 13 be and become a lien on said property pursuant to said Municipal 14 Code provisions and applicable laws and shall be collected as a 15 special assessment thereon. 16 SECTION 4. In the event said sum is not paid as hereinabove 17 provided, the City Clerk is hereby directed to file a certified 18 copy of this resolution with the Auditor of the County of San 19 Bernardino, State of California, directing that said sum be 20 entered as lien charges against said property as it appears on 21 the current assessment rolls, to be collected at the same time 22 and in the same manner, subject to the same penalties and inter- 23 est upon delinquencies, as the general taxes for the City of San 24 Bernardino are collected. 25 The City Clerk shall also present for recording appropriate 26 notices of the imposition of these liens with the County Recorder. 27 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly 28 adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernar- - 2 - . 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 dino at a meeting thereof, held on the day of , 1987, by the following vote, to wit: .AYES: NAYS: ABSENT: City Clerk The foregoing resolution is hereby approved this day of , 19B7.
