The proposed purchase is for 10,000 Reflective Traffic Lane Markers.
At the request of the Public Services Department, specifications were prepared,
published and sent to area vendors, 4 bidders were solicited, one did not respond,
one bid was received late, two bids were received.
The following is a summary of bids received.

RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AWARDING A BID TO WHITTAKER CORP.
FOR THE FURNISHING AND DELIVERY OF TEN THOUSAND (10,000) REFLECTIVE TRAFFIC
LANE MARKERS TO BE UTILIZED BY THE PUBLIC SERVICES/STREET DEPARTMENT IN ACCORD-
ANCE WITH BID SPECIFICATION F-88-03.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ~~YOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNAR-
DINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Whittaker Corp. is the lowest and best bidder for the furnish-
ing and delivery of ten thousand Reflective Traffic Lane Markers in accordance
with Bid Specification F-88-03 for the total amount of $15,688.00; pursuant to
this determination, the Purchasing Agent is hereby authorized and directed to
issue a purchase order for said Reflective Traffic Lane Markers to said lowest
and best bidder; such award shall only be effective upon the issuance of a
purchase order by the Purchasing Agent; and all other bids therefor are hereby
rejected.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted by the
Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino at a
