STAFF REPORT
The Engineering Division received a request from Public Buildings/
Parking Control to remove the two-hour parking limitation on Pershing Avenue
between Redick Avenue and Hilda Street. The parking restriction was needed
when the main entrance to the City Yard was through Pershing Avenue, There-
fore. it is no longer needed and creates unnecessary inconvenience to both
area residences and parking control officers.
This matter was discussed by the Traffic Safety Committee at
their meeting on July 8, 1987. The Committee recommends that the two-hour
parking limitation be removed on Pershing Avenue between Redick Avenue and
Hilda Street,
The removal of the 2-hour parking restriction will not adversely
affect the parking in the area.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
