Synopsis of Previous Council action:
June, 1986 Allocation of $255,000 in 1986/8r Storm Drain Con-
struction Fund 8udget approved.
5-11-87 Limits of project expanded to include installation
of Master Plan Storm Drain at College Avenue.
Recommended motion:
That a finding be made that the installation of the
Master Plan Storm Drain along University Parkway,
from [-215 to a point about 1,200 feet to the north-
east, in accordance with Plan No. 7246, is needed for
health and safety reasons.

CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO - REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION
STAFF REPORT
Installation of the Master Plan Storm Drain from the
Route 1-215 freeway to a point about 1,200 feet to the north-
east, will reduce the potential for flooding.
This will serve to lessen the possibility of damage to
property and hazard to life, by providing an underground conduit
to convey the design storm water flows.
We recommend that a finding be made that the installation
of this storm drain is needed for health and safety reasons.
