BID SPEC: F-87-36
The proposed purchase if for 200 each - 3 Cubic Yard Commercial Refuse Bins, to
be utilized by the Public Services Department, Refuse Division.
At the request of the department, appropriate specifications on file were pub-
lished and furnished to area suppliers. Twelve bidders were solicited, four
submitted bids, two returned NO BID response, six bidders did not respond.
The following is a summary of bids received:

who concurs that the bid of Arpico Steel Co. meets specifications and requirements,
and therefore recommend it be accepted for contract.
The amount of $60,000 has been appropriated for this purchase.

RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AWARDING A BID TO ARPICO
STEEL CO. FOR THE FURNISHING AND DELIVERY OF 200 EACH - 3 CUBIC YARD
COMMERCIAL REFUSE BINS TO BE UTILIZED BY THE PUBLIC SERVICES/REFUSE
DEPARTMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH BID SPECIFICATION F-87-36.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Arpico Steel Co. is the lowest and best bidder for the
furnishing and del ivery of 200 each - 3 cuoic yal'd commercial refuse bins
in accordance with Bid Specification F-87-36 for the total amount of
$59,254.00; pursuant to this determination, the Purchasing Agent is hereby
authorized and directed to issue a purchase order for said 200 each - 3
cubic yard refuse bins to said lowest and best bidder; sucn award shall only
be effective upon the issuance of a purchase o,der by the Purchasing Agent;
and all other bids therefor are hereby rejected.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted by the
