BID SPEC: F-87-28
The proposed purchase is for Two New 3/4 Ton Pick-up Trucks, Chassis Only, to be
utilized in daily operations by the Animal Control Department. At the request of
the department and in co-ordination with the Equipment Superintendent, appropriate
specifications were prepared, published and furnished to area suppliers. Bids were
publicly opened and declared on April 15, 1987. The following is a summary of bids
received.

Specifications as bid have been reviewed with the Equipment Superintendent and the
Director of Animal Control who concur, that the bid of Crest Chevrolet, one of twelve
bid responses out of thirty-eight solicited, meets specifications and requirements.
It is therefore recommended that the bid be accepted for contract. The equipment is

RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AWARDING A BID TO CREST
CHEVROLET FOR THE FURNISHING AND DELIVERY OF TWO NEW 3/4 TON PICK-UP TRUCKS,
CHASSIS ONLY, IN ACCORDANCE WITH BID SPECIFICATION F-87-28.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BER-
NARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Crest Chevrolet is the lowest and best bidder for the fur-
nishing and delivery of two new 3/4 ton pick-up trucks, chassis only, in
accordance with Bid Specification F-87-28 for the total amount of
$22,B53.60; pursuant to this determination, the Purchasing Agent is hereby
authorized and directed to issue a purchase order for said two 3/4 ton
pick-up trucks, chassis only, to said lowest and best bidder; such award
shall only be effective upon the issuance of a purchase order by the
Purchasing Agent; and all other bids'" therefor are hereby rejected.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted by the
Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernaridno at a
meeting thereof, held on the
