RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO CONSENTING TO THE
INCLUSION OF THE TERRITORY OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO IN THE
TERRITORY OF THE SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY VECTOR CONTROL PROGRAM
ESTABLISHEO PURSUANT TO CALIFORNIA GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION
25842.5.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN BERNAROINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Recitals.
A. The Board of Supervisors of San Bernardino County has
established a Vector Control Program for a county-wide benefit.
B. Each city council may adopt a resolution of consent for
the inclusion of its territory in the territory of the program
pursuant to section 25842.5 of the Government Code.
C. The Mayor and Common Council find that the public health,
safety, and welfare of its constituency will be promoted by
inclusion in the program territory.
SECTION 2. Implementation. The Mayor and Common Council
approve and consent to the inclusion of the incorporated territory
of the City of San Bernardino within the San Bernardino County
Vector Control Program territory established for provisions of a
county-wide vector control service, and the services rendered in
performance of that program and the concomitant powers exercised
as set forth in California Health and Safety Code Section 2200,
et seq., including any proper assessments and charges, shall be
in effect.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly
adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San
