BID SPEC: F-87-39
The proposed purchase is for one new 3/4 ton truck with utility body. to be
utilized in daily operations by the Parks. Recreation & Community Services
Department. At the request of the department and in co-ordination with the
Equipment Superintendent. appropriate specifications were prepared. published
and furnished to area suppliers. The following is a summary of bids received.

Specifications as bid have been reviewed with the Equipment Superintendent and
Director of Parks, Recreation & Community Services who concur, that the bid of Tom
Bell Chevrolet meets specifications and requirements. It is therefore recommended
that the bid be accepted for contract. The amount of $14,800 was included in the
1986/87 budget for this equipment.

RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AWARDING A BID TO TOM SELL
CHEVROLET FOR THE FURNISHING AND DELIVERY OF ONE NEW 3/4 TuN TRUCK WITH
UTILITY BODY TO BE UTILIZED BY THE PARKS, RECREATION & CDriNUNICTY SERVICES
DEPARH1ENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH SPECIFICATION F-87-39.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY uF SAN BE~-
NARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Tom Bell Chevrolet is the lowest and best bidder for the
furnishing and delivery of one new 3/4 ton truck with utility body in aLc0rd-
ance with Bid Specification F-87-39 for the total amount of $14,808.20; pJr-
suant to this determination, the Purchasing Agent is hereby authorized and
directed to issue a purchase order for said one new 3/4 ton truck to saic
lowest and best bidder; such award shall only be effective upon the issua~ce
of a purchase order by the Purchasing Agent; and all other bids therefor ore
hereby rejected.
