STAFF REPORT
BID SPEC: F-87-37
The proposed contract is for re-roofing the areas around thelcOoling towers at
Central City Mall.
At the request of the Superintendent of the Public Buildings Department, specifi-
cations were prepared, published and furnished to area vendors.
Eight vendors were solicited, four vendors did not respond, one vendor submitted
"NO BID" response.
The following is a summary of bids received:

Specifications as bid have been reviewed with the Superintendent of Public Buildings
who concurs that the bid of Bryant Organization at $11,100.00 meets and exceeds all
of the specifications and requirements.
It is therefore recommended that the bid of the Bryant Organization be awarded for
contract.
The amount of $11,100.00 is included in the 1986/87 Budget for this repair work.

RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AWARJJ1NG A BID TO
BRYANT ORGANIZATION INC. FOR THE FURNISHING AND DELIVERY OF
RE-ROOFING COOLING TOWER AREA ON CENTRAL CITY t1ALL TO BE UTILIZED
BY THE PUBLIC BUILDINGS DEPARTMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH BID
SPECIFICATION F-87-37.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE t1AYOR AND CO~rnON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
Bryant Organization Inc. is the lowest and best bidder for
the furnishing and delivery of re-roofin9 cooling tower area on
Central City Mall in accordance with Bid Specification F-87-37
for the total amount of $11,100.00; pursuant to this determin"
ation, the purchasing Agent is hereby authorized and directed to
issue a purchase order for said re-roofing cooling tower area on
Central City Mall to said lowest and best bidder; such award
shall only be effective upon the issuance of a I'l\rchase order DY
the Purchasing Agent; and all other bids therefor are hereby
rejected.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly
