STAFF REPORT
On December 22, 1986, your Honorable Body authorized the Public Works Director/
City Engineer to commence proceedings to change the name of Lena Road, between
Mill Street and Third Street, to Frank Bland Road.
Since a portion of the street proposed for a name change is located within the
jurisdiction of the County of San Bernardino, they had to also take action.
The Board of Supervisors rejected the proposal at their meeting of May 18, 1987,
due to a number of protests being received from residents along the portion
of Lena Road within the County.
It is, therefore, recommended that the City terminate the proceedings for
changing Lena Road to Frank Bland Drive.
