Synopsis of Previous Council action:
June, 1986 -- Allocation of $44,050 from CDBG Funds approved for
Phase I of handicap accessibility at City Parks.
Recommended motion:
That the plans for handicap accessibility at City Parks (Perris Hill
& Blair), in accordance with Plan No. 7226, be approved, and the
Director of Public Works/City Engineer authorized to advertise for
bids.

STAFF REPORT
Plans for these improvements have been prepared by the Engineering
Division and the project is ready to be advertised for bids.
The project includes, in general, of eliminating architectural
barriers by construction of ramps and sidewalk, and modifying
restroom buildings.
Listed below is an estimate of the total project cost:

TOTAL ESTIMATED PROJECT COST
An amount of $44,050 has been allocated from CDBG Funds, under
Account No. 121-544-57522, to finance the cost of this project.
Any required supplemental funds could be provided after the bids
have been opened and the contract price is known.
We recommend that the plans be approved and authorization granted
to advertise for bids.
