Synopsis of Pravious Council action:
12-22-87 Resolution No. 86-527 adopted authorizing execution of a
proposal with L.A. Wainscott for architectural services.
Plans approved and authorization granted to advertise
for bids.
Resolution No. 87-22 adopted awarding a contract to
Wickum Construction for the low bid price of $229,000.
2-16-87 --- Change Order No. One to contract with Wickum Construction
approved to authorize construction of bleacher foundations
and various additional items of work.

Recommended motion:
That the work performed by the Contractor, in accordance with Specifi-
cation No. 7150, be approved and accepted; and that final payment be
authorized at the expiration of the lien period.

CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO - REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION
STAFF REPORT
All work under this contract was satisfactorily completed as
of May 6, 1987.
The contract was awarded for the low bid price of $229,000.00.
Contract Change Order No. One authorized the construction of
bleacher foundations and various additional items of work, at
an increase in the contract price of $41,271.75. The actual
final contract price is $276,646.00, due to an increase in the
actual quantity of concrete, sidewalk and bleacher foundations
constructed, in excess of the estimated quantities.
We recommend that the work be approved and accepted and that
final payment be authorized at the expiration of the lien period.
