Recommended motion: '
That the City Engineerand City Clerk are authorized to proceed with ini~iat+ng
proceedings for the expansion of boundaries of Assessment District No. 975 (Mill
and Pepper Area Landscape Maintenance District) under the provisions of Chapter
12.90.060 of the San Bernardino Municipal Code and Section 3113 of the Streets
and Highways Code of the State of California.

STAFF REPORT
A petition has been received by this office requesting the formation of an
assessment district for the maintenance of landscaping along Pepper Avenue
which borders Tentative Tract No. 13490. This proposed subdivision adjoins
the boundaries of Assessment District No. 975 which is already established
for the same purposes and it is the purpose of this action to amend the
boundaries of the district by expanding same to include the new Tract..
The signatures affixed to the referenced petition have been checked and
found to represent the owners of 100 percent of the area of the property
lying within the proposed expanded area liable to be assessed for the
proposed maintenance.
The developer has already up-fronted the cost of the proceedings for the
expansion of the District.
