DESCRIPTION) Finance: Council Note.: 75.0262 Agenda ltemNo,~' .~ ' o o ~ PERSONNEL COMMITTEE June 18, 1987 ATENDEES: Councilman Jack Reilly, Councilman Tom Minor; Councilwoman pope-Ludlam; City Adm. - Ray Schweitzer, Deputy City Administrator/Projects - James Richardson, Public Works Director - Roger Hardgrave, Personnel Director - Mary Jane perlick, Deputy City Attorney - John Wilson; Garage Equipment Supt. - Robert Torbitt, Council Executive Assistant - Phil Arvizo, Mayor's Executive Assistant - Richard Bennecke. 1. GARAGE AUDIT - PERSONNEL CHANGES The Committee recommended approval of the personnel action. The changes will be placed on the July 6, 1987 Agenda. 2. TEMPORARY EMPLOYEES - Item continued. A complete report will be provided by the Civil Service Commission and the Personnel Director. The report will define all posi- tions, hours worked and recommendation for establishing specific guidelines. The new budget will be used to compare the data. 3. INSURANCE AT RETIREMENT Item continued. An updated study is to be provided at next meeting. 4. RETIREMENT FOR ELECTED OFFICIALS - Item referred to City Attorney for administrative action. 5. REPORT RELATIVE TO ADMINISTRATIVE MAYOR Report read and filed. Copy of Councilwoman Estrada. ASSISTANT TO THE report sent to 6. TRAFFIC ENGINEERING DIVISION - Item continued. 7. CLARIFICATION OF AUTHORIZATION OF CLERK TYPIST FOR PURCHASING DEPARTMENT - The Council had approved a typist for this position but because the Classification Study had changed this to a Purchasing Clerk, the Committee felt that was the intention.
