STAFF REPORT
The following transfers between General Fund appropriation accounts are
recommended to provide necessary funds in the respective areas through
the end of the fiscal year.
1. The Mayor and Common Council authorized $40,000 to cover start
up costs for the General Plan revision. A separate cost center
has been established within the Planning Department budget to
account for all costs related to the General Plan revision.
Latest estimates of costs in the Planning Department through
the end of June 1987 indicate that adequate funds will be
available to transfer to the newly established division to fund
the necessary amount of $40,000.
2. In September of 1986 the Mayor and Common Council authorized
CDBG funding to supplement social service funding within the
Park, Recreation, and Community Services budget. An amount
of $15,686 is necessary to be funded from the General Fund to
fully comply with CDBG regulations. Funds in that amount are
available from salary savings in the Parks Division to be
transferred to the social services funding areas.
