Oescri tion Removal of Wildwood Park Finance: Council Notes: 75.0262 Agenda Item NO.--" I - ciTY OF SAN BERrQRDINO - RI!QUEST Q,R COUNCIL ACTION STAFF REPORT Plans for the removal of architectural barriers at Wildwood Park have been prepared by the Engineering Division and the project is ready to be advertised for bids. The project consists, in general, of constructing a new concrete block rest- room building, to replace the existing structure that is not accessible to the handicapped. Listed below is an estimate of the total project cost. Construction Contract Engineering & Inspection (W.O. #1849) Sub-Total Contingencies (10%)~ TOTAL ESTIMATED PROJECT COST $ 90,917 14,200 $ 105,117 10,883 $ 116,000 An amount of $74,500 in CDBG Funds was allocated, under Account No. 121-544-57639, in the 1987/88 Budget. The Community Development Department plans to place an item on the Council Agenda for the meeting on 11-6-89 to provide $42,835 in supple- mental funding. We recommend that the plans be approved and authorization granted to advertise for bids. This project and the removal of architectural barriers for Lytle Creek Park will be incorporated into one contract. 10-26-89 75.0264
