STAFF REPORT
Tentative Tract No. 10182 was originally approved by the
Mayor and Council on 1-23-78. A revised tentative map was later
approved at the Council meeting of 3-26-81. This approval
expired without the final map being recorded.
This map was re-filed by a different applicant as Tenta-
tive Map No. 10182 Amendment U, and approval by the Planning
Commission on 12-4-84. The final map was approved at the Council
meeting of 12-26-85. A change of ownership was approved on 7-20-
87, but the final map was not recorded.
A new owner has submitted an application for Tentative
Tract No. 14044. The tentative map for the new tract was
approved by the Planning Commission on 6-6-89.
The previous owner has requested, by letter dated 10-4-
89, that all bonds be released, in order that they can be
relieved from paying the premiums. The proposed resolution
rescinds approval of the ~e map, releases and cancels the
Subdivision Agreement, and rep Is Resolution No. 87-239.

Since the final map for Tract No. 10182 was not recorded,
releasing the bonds will not adversely affect the public's
interest. We recommend that the resolution be approved.

We, Watt Industries, had an interest in a piece of land, tract
10182, in San Bernardino and are currently paying premiums on
bonds numbers 06-66-65, 06-66-66 and 06-66-67. The map for this
tract was never recorded. We hereby release all interest in tract
10182. Therefore, we request the release of all bonds in place
for tract 10182.

RESOLUTION NO.,
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO RESCINDING
APPROVAL OF THE FINAL MAP FOR SUBDIVISION TRACT NO. 10182,
LOCATED APPROXIMATELY 488 FEET SOUTH OF THE CENTERLINE OF
IRVINGTON AVENUE, AND EAST OF OLIVE AVENUE 1 RESCINDING APPROVAL
OF THE AGREEMENTS FOR THE IMPROVEMENTS IN SAID SUBDIVISION 1 AND
REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 87-239.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF TilE
CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Approval of the final map for Subdivision
Tract No. 10182 and the dedications to the public contained
therein are rescinded.
SECTION 2.
Approval of the agreement with Watt
Industries, Inc. , for the improvements in said subdivision tract
are hereby released and cancelled.
SECTION 3. Resolution No. 87-239 is hereby repealed.
