STAFF REPORT
This Resolution confirms the Assessment Roll and approves the
Assessment Diagram Map No. 989 for the maintenance of landscaping in
portions of Mill Street between Macy Street and a point
approximately 980 feet West thereof.
On June 19, 1989, Resolution of Intention No. 89-215 was adopted
which instituted formal proceedings to form an assessment district
in the Mill and Macy Street area for the maintenance of landscaping.
All the requirements of Chapter 12.90 of the Municipal Code were
fullfilled, and on July 17,1989, the Resolution ordering work was
adopted. The charges for the establishment of the district total
$2,429.44 which will be paid from the up-front money deposited by
the Developer.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO CONFIRMING
ASSESSMENT ROLL NO. 989 FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF LANDSCAPING IN
PORTIONS OF THE SOUTH SIDE OF MILL STREET BETWEEN MACY STREET
AND A POINT APPROXIMATELY 980 FEET WEST THEREOF, IN THE CITY
OF SAN BERNARDINO, AND APPROVING ASSESSMENT DIAGRAM MAP NO.
989.
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Common Council of the City of
San Bernardino on June 19, 1989, adopted its Resolution of
Intention No. 89-215, to order the work described therein to
be done under the provi si ons of Chapter 12.90 of the San
Bernardino City Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Common Council on June 19,
1 9 8 9 , a p pro v e d t he En g i nee r 's R e p 0 r t on t he pro po sed
assessment district, which report includes a proposed
assessment roll and Assessment District Map relative to
Assessment District No. 989; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said Resolution of Intention
No. 89-215, the City of San Bernardino proceeded without
Notice and Hearing; and
WHEREAS, incidental expenses totalling $2,429.44
have been incurred for the establishment of the district,
which must be spread over the individual parcels of said
assessment district, the City has computed and set forth in
attached Exhibit "A" which is incorporated herein by reference
the first year assessment for each individual parcel, all of
which are as set forth on Exhibit "A" attached hereto, is
hereby declared to be the Assessment District No. 989 Roll

NOW, THEREFOIlE, THE MAYOR ANO COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor and Common Council do
hereby find and determine that the proportionate costs to be
levied against the parcels of land within Assessment District
No. 989 are correctly set forth on Assessment Roll No. 989
for the fiscal year 1989-90, Mill and Macy Area Landscape
Maintenance District, designated as Exhibit "A" for total
costs of establishing the district which Exhibit is attached
hereto and is incorporated herein by reference, and the 'Mayor
and Common Council do hereby confirm said assessments.
SECTION 2. That said Assessment Diagram Map No,
989 is hereby approved.
