PROPOSED BRIDGE AND THOROUGHFARE FEE - Item continu- ed. The Committee recommended that Mr. Klatt pursue his efforts to establish this fee. His report is due back to the Committee on January 4. 2. LICENSING OF JOURNEYMAN PLUMBERS AND RELATED TRADES- PERSONS - Item continued. Don Magnus, from the pipefitters union, was not present. The Committee felt it was necessary to have this input. 3. ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 15.20.050 TO REQUIRE LANDSCAPING PRIOR TO ISSUANCE OF A CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY FOR BUILDINGS VACANT MORE THAN l80 DAYS - Item continued. The City Administrator will provide further review and present at next Committee meeting. 4. ORDINANCE ADDING SECTIONS 18.04.050 AND 19.02.030 AND AMENDING SECTIONS l8.80.0l0 AND 19.82.030 TO THE SAN BERNARDINO MUNICIPAL CODE AND ESTABLISHING CRIMINAL VIOLA- TIONS FOR NONCOMPLIANCE OF CONDITIONS OF SUBDIVISION MAPS, CUP'S AND OTHER PERMITS - Item continued. The City Attorney will provide more specific language and possible alternate remedies at the next meeting. 5. PROPOSED AMENDED ORDINANCE TO ALLOW OWNERS TO OBTAIN PROPER BUILDING PERMITS Item continued. The Committee felt that the non-conforming section of the ordinance was subject to interpretation. They asked that the overall problem be addressed and alternatives be presented. The City Attorney and Director of Building and Planning will develop the criteria. Development code review will occur at the December 7 meeting. o o 6. PATTON PARK PROPERTY RESOLUTION The Committee recommended this be sent to Council with a staff report indicating the time period for park development. Backup material should include a letter from the State indicating that we have to allocate funds by resolution.
